Did I Never Mention?

It's time to set the record straight. So far on this blog I've adopted the voice of a lone captain sailing the high seas with a couple of trusty assistants in the sidelines. How vain am I? No: I owe my chance at motherhood all to M. who has taken on the entire financial, physical and emotional burden that most men would recoil from of bringing up a child with only half a mum. And to my own mum who steps in while M is at work. The complexities of my indebtedness, struggle against and gratitude to her are a novel in themselves. For once I just want to thank both of them from the bottom of my heart.
